• HVAC and clean aseptic management facilities of medium production plants

These days, you can order a mushroom house online at home and receive it by courier to grow and eat the mushrooms you want at home. It is popular in many ways because you can feel a sense of accomplishment while watching it.

Recently, as the number of returning hometown populations increases, mushroom cultivation is rapidly increasing in popularity as farming that can be accessed easily with relatively inexpensive investment on a small land. in most cases it is used. As such, if the medium factory is not scaled up to a certain extent, it is impossible for ordinary farmers to directly produce and farm medium due to the initial investment cost of billions of won.

Mushroom medium factory is divided into raw material storage building, medium processing building, culture building, office building, and other ancillary buildings, all of which are called the culture center.

In the case of a small badge center, the investment cost is about 3.5 billion won when it is built on a site of 2,000 pyeong and a building area of 1,000 pyeong.

Here, if the medium processing building is classified in detail, it can be broadly divided into material mixing room, sealing and preparation room, sterilization room, cooling room, medium storage inoculation room, and shipping room.

Each of these spaces should be divided into automatic work lines, badge circulation lines, and medium transfer lines, and the actual arrangement should be made so that the work efficiency is maximized without fighting the movement lines. Depending on the type of medium such as square medium, rod type medium, top medium, etc., it should be designed according to the species of mushroom bacteria.

Depending on the mushroom bacteria, there are bacteria that are relatively strong against various bacteria other than mushroom bacteria, and there are bacteria that are not. Usually, it is a system that thoroughly blocks the inflow of external bacteria from the space after passing through the sterilizer. and significant validation of the movement of the medium is required. When entering and exiting, workers must wash their hands and shoes in clean clothes and then go through an air shower after alcohol washing.

The medium sterilizes all bacteria in the sterilization medium for 3 hours or more with 120℃ steam in a high-temperature and high-pressure bar, and is discharged through the door opposite the entrance blocked from the outside.

This is the primary cooling room, where after sterilization and natural cooling for more than 7 hours in the sterilizer, the discharged medium is cooled, but the medium temperature is maintained at 80℃ or higher.

For energy saving and effective cooling, a large amount of outside air is used to cool the outside air for about 5 hours.

At this time, the supplied outside air is cooled by supplying clean, sterile air that has passed through the pre-filter and HEPA filter. The medium naturally cooled to 40°C is moved to the secondary cooling room.

Here, the medium is cooled to a room temperature of 10°C by cooling using a freezer, and the medium is moved to the cooling inoculation room at 20°C or less. The size of the inoculation room is twice the size of the cooling room, and the room temperature is maintained at 18℃ while storing the medium.

Both the cooling room and the inoculation room have a structure that maintains positive pressure during work, fundamentally blocking the intrusion of external pollutants and supplying air through a BFU equipped with a pre-filter and HEPA filter. 25cmm is sufficient as an amount that can sufficiently discharge the The air outlet has a structure that is automatically operated by positive pressure using a relief damper for cleanroom facilities, and it must be a reliable product that can block the inflow of external air 100%.

In the inoculation room, there should be enough space to store 2 to 3 days’ worth of medium from the cooling room, and there should be enough room for the movement of workers even with clean booths and conveyors. Seed inoculation can be divided into manual and automatic. In general, it is advantageous to install manually in low-wage areas such as Southeast Asia and automatically in high-wage areas such as Europe. Both automatic and manual equipment are installed in the clean booth to once again block contamination during the inoculation process.

In the automatic inoculation type, the clean booth should be 3,000*3,000*2,500 or more, and the FFU 2set clean booth in the manual inoculation type should be 2,000*2,000*2,000, and 1 set of FFU is sufficient. In the clean booth, an ozone sterilizer work light control device, worker protection device, etc. are additionally installed.

Since the inoculated medium can be easily exposed to external contaminants, a special procedure is required to move it to the culture room. The inoculation medium discharged from the inoculation room through the conveyor is transferred to the culture cart by an automated pick-up machine. It will become a mushroom house that can produce mushrooms only after passing through a period of time.

Size and quantity of mixing machine design according to the size of the culture room and daily production per medium type of air conditioning equipment Type of sealing machine and sealing capacity per minute Type of sealing machine and sealing capacity per minute Size of shipment of cooling room and equipment design of refrigeration facility and ventilation system Storage of raw materials In the next chapter, we will explain the building floor air conditioning design and equipment design of the badge center, such as the size of the building and the arrangement of the mixer conveyor.
